This an intro class to leather crafting. It is designed to help people that want to work with leather but don't know where to start. We will be covering some basic essentials like where are some local places to buy material, how to order material, sizing of material, cutting, fastening, basic dyeing techniques, basic sewing techniques, and basic finishing techniques.
The cuffs consists of two main parts. A front which will be a pre-dyed veg tan leather. The back will be a pre glued garment leather. I will demonstrate how I made these parts, but due to drying time I will be providing the dried parts to the attendees. Attendees will assemble their own set of cuffs to take home.
I ask all attendees to submit their basic wrist size, and the color they would like the front piece to be. Please note that if you have attended the collar class that this is a different style.
